Early this summer you found your first love,
And I embarassed you.
Not just a little bit but a lot of bit.
I took out my new camera that just arrived,
(literally to our doorstep. THAT day.)
And forced my way into your world.
(for only a few moments)
(lest one think I’m overbearing)
To me I was just continuing the documentation of your life.
To you I was infringing on something sacred.
Maybe you’ll thank me someday…I don’t really know.
The photos are cute though and they really do highlight you both
(and how uncomfortable those early days of getting to know one another are)
Honestly though… I really think every one should have an early couple photo
(it should be a requirement in every relationship)
